Reflexology

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a therapy that correlates reflexes throughout the body to areas on the feet, hands and ears. Applying various, specific reflexology massage techniques to these areas can have an affect on the corresponding body part. The affect that reflexology has on the targeted part of the body is to increase circulation to that area and promoting healing through that circulation.

Often reflexology therapy promotes more than just increased circulation in the body, it promotes the individual into a state of rest and relaxation which also aids and assists the body to begin the process of natural healing.

Reflexology Treatments for Specific Illnesses

Because reflexology can be targeted to specific regions and organs in the body, the therapy is able to assist those suffering from various illnesses. Individual responses to reflexology therapies to address certain health concerns can vary, but at a minimum if you enjoy the therapy it is worth the time invested.

Our certified reflexologist has prepared some in-depth articles about a few of these illnesses and how reflexology can help (look for them coming shorty).
